About Us

WHO WE ARE:
We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Law Enforcement Charity comprised of active and retired, Sworn Law Enforcement members, in good standing, who serve, have served, or retired and now reside in the South Florida area. We also welcome civilian volunteers who have a passion for supporting Law Enforcement and have close ties to the Law Enforcement community.

Our Team includes the following Counties in the South Florida area: St. Lucie, Okeechobee, Glades, Charlotte, Martin, Palm Beach, Hendry, Lee, Broward, Collier, Dade, and Monroe.

WHAT WE DO:
Our primary mission is to honor and remember those Law Enforcement Officers who have been killed in the line of duty while supporting their agencies and their families. Our secondary mission is to bridge the gap between Law Enforcement and the communities they live and work in by sharing the human side of the profession when appropriate and by highlighting some of the many positive incidents seen less frequently.

To accomplish our goals, we send a custom memorial plaque from our Team to the immediate family of every Law Enforcement Officer killed in the line of duty in the State of Florida, do our very best to attend each and every line of duty death funeral in our State, and we share information about and offer our support to those Law Enforcement Officers injured or killed in the line of duty.

From time to time we will provide a resource for those in the community wishing to come together and support our Law Enforcement Officers and their families via online fundraising campaigns. These campaigns will typically run for a two week duration and all proceeds raised will be delivered to the recipient.

We proudly participate in many positive local events encouraging positive interaction between the community and Law Enforcement. Examples of these events include memorial ceremonies, Family Fun Day events, National Night Out events, Police K9 competitions, and Police Motorcycle competitions to name just a few.

Our Team is honored to participate in the Florida Tour de Force each year. The Florida Tour de Force is a bicycle ride taking place each April in the State of Florida. This event is done to honor and raise money for Florida’s Law Enforcement Fallen Heroes. The ride is organized and staffed by devoted volunteers of the Law Enforcement community and all money raised is donated to the families of Fallen Heroes.

Our Team will always be 100% volunteer driven and we are proud to say we have no problem supporting other worthwhile organizations who are also doing great things in the South Florida area. We support Adopt-A-Cop USA out of Boynton Beach and the Florida 9463 Foundation out of Broward County.

Lastly, our Team is also proud to host it’s own Award Dinner ‘South Florida’s Best of the Badge‘ event held every year or every other year depending on circumstances. The purpose of this event is to unite South Florida Law Enforcement regardless of agency, jurisdiction, and rank and recognize those who go above and beyond each year in our South Florida communities. The location of this event will move to a different County each year. Our last event was held in Broward County in 2016.
