Honoring Their Sacrifice. Supporting Their Legacy.
Each holiday season, the Team South Florida law enforcement charity works to bring a little extra joy to children who have experienced the loss of a parent in the line of duty.
Our Holiday Shopping Spree provides children of fallen law enforcement officers with an opportunity to enjoy a special holiday shopping experience, supported by members and volunteers from the law enforcement community.
This initiative is about much more than shopping. It is one small way for us to remind these children and their families that their loved one is remembered, their sacrifice has not been forgotten, and the law enforcement community continues to stand beside them.

Who Can Be Nominated?
We welcome nominations of children who have lost a parent who served in law enforcement.
The program is open to families throughout Florida, including law enforcement families who relocated to Florida following their loss. Nominations may include children whose parent was killed in the line of duty, died as a result of their service, or was lost to suicide.
Nominations may come from agencies, coworkers, family members, friends, peer support teams, chaplains, or others familiar with the family.
If you know a family who may benefit, we encourage you to reach out.
How to Nominate a Child
To submit a nomination, please provide the following:
- Law Enforcement Officer’s name and the End of Watch year
- Law enforcement Officer’s agency
- If known, a point of contact for the child or children, typically a surviving parent, guardian, or agency liaison
That’s all we need to get started. Please do not send sensitive personal information. A member of Team South Florida will follow up if additional information is needed.
